Sydney Market Update
Saturday 16th May 2020
Market prices will increase slighthly over the next few weeks as we await more produce from Queensland. Demand is slow but the reopening of Cafes, Restaurants and Pubs will start to allow growers to increase the size of crops in the coming months.
We have expanded our product range after some great feedback from customers. Half cabbage, ginger, garlic, 1kg carrots, and 1kg pink lady's have been added. We started this venture 6 weeks ago with 50 items and now have 80 in the store.
It has been your loyal support that has allowed us to expand the range and there will definitely be more added in coming weeks.
As usual we will be back down again Sunday night for another load fresh produce.
Sydney Market Update
Tuesday 12th May 2020
Not much action from Mondays market. We are still waiting on more supply from Queensland with Strawberries, Snow Peas, Zucchini and Corn still in short supply and expensive. Broccoli is a great substitute and is in good supply from the southern states. Imported Asparagus is now more affordable and I will put it back into the online store tonight.
Speaking of the online store we have added 2 new sections, Herbs and Chinese Veg as we look to expand the range now that our wholesale side is picking up and slowly returning to normal. This will be great for our regional towns as these perishable lines can be hard to source from the
local supermarket, and it will be fresh from Flemington that same morning. I will add more in the coming days.
Don't forget order by 2pm tomorrow for Thursday delivery.
